A striking 1970s mechanical Gloriosa with an oval two-tone dial, sculptural steel case and wide integrated bracelet.

Condition & Details

In very good condition with no scratches on the watch crystal. Normal signs of wear and tear on the watch itself. The movement has been professionally serviced in September and runs flawlessly. This watch has been carefully preserved to maintain its originality.

Why This Watch?

Pure 1970s design, and even more interesting with a mechanical movement inside. The unusually small oval dial sits almost hidden within the broad stainless-steel case and bracelet, creating a bold piece of wrist architecture where the case itself becomes as important as the time display. The brushed silver center, dark outer track and applied baton markers add contrast while keeping the dial remarkably clean.

The wide integrated bracelet flows almost seamlessly into the case, giving the watch its unmistakable Space Age character. Combined with the traditional mechanical movement, it is a wonderful example of how experimental Swiss watch design became during the 1970s. Unconventional, sculptural and very much of its era.
